We are SO excited about the wedding this weekend! To be completely honest though, I REALLY can't wait for the honeymoon! I'm so ready for long walks, late mornings, coffee on the porch, fun adventures, exploring new places, and just simply hanging out with my new hubby! We have chosen a very non-traditional honeymoon spot. We are headed to Harbor Springs, Michigan!
Many people have asked us, why in the WOLRD Michigan for your honeymoon? Well, my mom's cousin Wedni and her husband Jay have so graciously allowed us the use of their vacation home as a honeymoon destination. They are only a few minutes from the artsy downtown area and they are across from the beach! We can walk almost everywhere! There is a huge porch on the front of the house and I cant wait to sit and have coffee there every morning!
We have so many activities planned. We are heading to Mackinaw Island for a day, we are also going to go up to Charlevoix for a day and we will spend some time at the Casino in Petosky, MI! My grandpa has also instructed us to try Traverse City Pies while in Petosky. Gotta do that! We really are going to have an amazing time, just the two of us. I am so excited!
