Day 2

Rain, rain, rain!! Didn't stop an awesome day! We had so much fun today! This morning we slept in and I made us breakfast once we finally rolled out of bed. It was cloudy this morning and it wasn't too long before the rain started falling. We headed out to Charlevoix to take a little drive but ended up calling my great aunt and uncle to see if they wanted to grab a bite to eat. Rob and I toured downtown Charlevoix and shopped the little stores and walked the pier. As we were shopping the rain really started to come down! We decided to head to Mike and Sally's house and thus started our 4 hour adventure with them! We went to dinner at the Great Lakes Fish Co and the fish was amazing! So, so yummy! I have a picture of the restaurant and I also have a picture of where our dinner was caught (about a block away!) Talk about fresh!

After dinner Mike and Sally drove us ALL around Charlevoix showing us all the town hot spots. We drove around looking at houses, the hospital, the old factory he worked at, the old train station and more. It was so fun and so beautiful. Charlevoix is an amazing city! After we left their house around 8, we headed back to Harbor Springs and got ice cream at Yummys! We are sitting on the wrap around porch now drinking coffee and wine. I love it here!
